HAMP Reporting Tool

The HAMP Reporting tool allows servicers to enter loan level data manually or to upload multiple loan files in either .xml or bar-delimited format. Responses for loan reporting submissions will be provided as user-friendly text within the tool. Direct integration options are also available. Reporting Transfer Process

Participating HAMP servicers are required to follow the standardized process below for the transfer or assignment of HAMP loans or servicing rights.

Program Participation Cap

Treasury publicly reports all adjustments to the Program Participation Caps of participating servicers in its TARP Housing Transactions Report. The TARP Housing Transactions Report is published at:
http://www.treasury.gov/initiatives/financial-stability/reports/Pages/TARP-Housing-Transaction-Reports.aspx.

In addition, Fannie Mae promptly informs servicers when their Program Participation Caps have been adjusted, and, effective July 2015, will direct servicers to the most recent TARP Housing Transactions Report to obtain their adjusted Program Participation Cap.

Servicers should contact the MHA Program Administrator if they have questions about how to obtain their adjusted Program Participation Cap.

Servicer Loan Number Change Request Process

To submit a Request for Servicer Loan Number Change, which may include a single loan or multiple loans, servicers participating in Making Home Affordable (MHA) must use the Servicer Loan Number Change Request Process below.

MHA Loan State Change Request Process

To submit an MHA Loan State Change Request, which may include a single loan or multiple loans, servicers participating in Making Home Affordable (MHA) are required to complete the provided form.

MHA LPI Date Correction Request Process

To submit an MHA LPI Date Correction Request, which may include a single loan or multiple loans, servicers participating in Making Home Affordable (MHA) are required to follow the outlined process and complete the provided template.

Operational Reporting Calendar

Review the reporting calendar to determine specific due dates for each month. Print the PDF file as a quick reference or review it online.

MHA Incentive Inquiry Request Process

To submit an MHA Incentive Inquiry request, which may include one or more loans, servicers participating in Making Home Affordable (MHA) are required to follow the outlined process and complete the provided form.
